When traveling, one of my favorite things is finding a local coffee shop and trying something new. I remember one time, the gal taking my order looked at me and said, “You’re not from here.”

It wasn’t a question; it was a statement. I confirmed she was correct and asked how she knew. She said I was smiling. As I left, she smiled and waved but what I’ll always remember - her eyes were smiling.

I’m not sure who felt better that day, but I know this - I love helping people smile.
