My son: Hi mom! I got you a birthday gift. (He hands me a bag of peanut m&m’s and a bottle of Pepsi Zero).

Me: Thank you!

My Son: I was at the gas station and remembered it was your birthday so I got you some Pepsi and m&m’s cuz I know you like them.

Me: Awe … this is the best birthday gift ever!

At some point in life, I hope everyone gets a gas station gift; not because of the gift, but because the person who gave it to you, not only thought about you, but cared enough to actually give it to you. 😊
